Computers
- Some links with interesting content:
- Luke Smith's website:lukesmith.xyz. The guy has a great Youtube channel, I have learn a lot from him.
- Chad's Guide to starting your own website:landchad.net. Having your own website is liberating.
- Use GNU/Linux! There are very good reasons to use a Linux-based OS:
- Virtually virus-free.
- Corporate desinterest in spying you (privacy).
- Understand what the machine you interact with daily is actually doing!
Environment
The effects of human-driven climate change have conducted civilization to the point where a change in itself is relevant for its own survival. This is a pressing matter. I share some links on the subject.
- GIQ's statement on climate change. My former group (where I did the PhD) has a very inspiring climate emergency statement.
- Extintion Rebellion. This is a movevent that uses civil disobedience to persuade governments to act on the Climate and Ecological Emergency.
Philosophy
I have a blog where I post my opinions and reflections. I have realised that my blog is mostly about Philosophy which made me aware that I really have a passion for this human endeavor. I share a couple of links about Philosophy.
- Enrique Dussel is one of the founders of Philosophy of Liberation. It is a philosophical movement that has a special place in my heart and which has thaught me a lot.
- There is interesting and a bit more direct content on philosophy in the internet. Explicitly, there are numerous podcasts about philosophy. I personaly like very much the Overthink podcast by Ellie Anderson and David Peña Guzmán, both Ph.D.s. I mostly watch them in youtube directly.
- Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy is a good source of abridged notions of philosophy from all eras.
